Our new head coach, Tina Cecala and the coaching staff are eager to meet with our returning swimmers. Tina and Josh have a goal is to create an all-inclusive program personally tailored to each swimmers needs. They are committed to increasing communication and will schedule time to listen to parents and swimmers concerns. Their long range plans include a cooperative dry- land and a year round swimming program that will allow swimmers to reach their maximum potential and achieve their best times. It is their goal to increase the number of swimmers qualifying for YMCA State Championships, YMCA Nationals, and USA Swimming Championships.

Josh Wing – Head Assistant Coach - This will be Josh’s fifth year coaching at Morris Center YMCA. His experience includes Head Swim Coach at Cromwell pool, assistant coach at Stardust pool for two years and a four year Varsity swimmer at Morristown High School.
In addition to coaching for the MCY Swim Team this fall, he also is an Aquatic Supervisor for the Y and will be attending CCM, majoring in Criminal Justice.
Jack Lawson - Asst. Coach – Jack has been coaching with the MCY Swim Team for over six years. Jack graduated from Adrian College with a degree in Physical Education. His coaching experience derived from various YMCA’s including, Upper Mainline, PA, Talbot County, MD, East Suburban, PA and currently Morris Center YMCA. Jack brings experience and enthusiasm to the program. He has coached all levels of swimmers, from beginners to National Caliber Athletes. His plans for the fall include an expanded dry-land program using the new Teen Fitness Center; and increasing staff and equipment. Jack is eager to work with all swimmers at Morris Center YMCA, helping each swimmer set goals, achieve success, and have fun along the way.
Adrienne Richardi – Assistant Coach - Adrienne began swimming competitively at the age of 8. She swam for MCY, Randolph High School, and Montclair State University. She served as captain her senior year on all three teams. She has been teaching swim lessons at MCY for 9 years. Adrienne is a recent graduate of Montclair State University with a degree in Early and Middle Childhood Education.
