Cedar Knolls --- Kraft Food employees are volunteering their time to assist the Morris Center YMCA with projects that require a large group of people.The YMCA is expecting over 30 Kraft employees to assist. Kraft Food has been sponsoring this outreach program every Martin Luther King weekend for the last nine years and tomorrow, Friday, January 16th will be the first time the Morris Center YMCA has their support.
“We have many projects slated for the volunteers such as organizing and cleaning toys at the Richard F. Blake Center, organizing the Y’s archives, and assisting with a mass mailing for a fundraiser that is coming up in the end of February”, said Carol Armour, President of the Morris Center Y. This event is called ‘Midnight in Miami and benefits the YMCA scholarship fund. The Kraft employees will also be assisting with general clean-up and painting of the Y.
