Cedar Knolls --- Mr. Alan Wilzig, Chairman, President & CEO of the Trustcompany Bank will be visiting the Morris Center YMCA this Tuesday, November 18, 2003 at 10:00 am.
Mr. Wilzig will be visiting with Carol Armour President of the Morris Center YMCA to see the 3.0 million renovations and expansion of the Y facility and the brand new Richard F. Blake Children’s Center as well. The Trustcompany is a longtime friend of the Y, and has supported the efforts of expansion and renovation throughout the past 4 years; helping to bring the Morris Center YMCA to a modern state facility and creating the Richard F. Blake Children’s Center were priorities for the “Bank With Heart”.
The Trustcompany Bank has been in business since 1896 and its’ first location was opposite the Hoboken Ferry. The bank has grown one branch at a time, one customer at a time, not by merger or acquisition. The Trustcompany is New Jersey’s third largest independent commercial bank.
The “Bank With Heart” literally opened their heart to the Morris Center YMCA about 4 years ago when the Y needed a complete “makeover”. With the funding received from the Trustcompany, the Y was able to execute the much needed renovations for the Y facility. Again, with the help of the Trust Company the building directly next door to the Y was purchased and the 20,000 facility renovated to house 215 babies in the Richard F. Blake Children’s Center.
“These monumental projects could not have been possible without the help of the Trust Company and we want the Morris County Community to know that this is truly a Bank With Heart”, Carol Armour said.
