Adult Swim Lessons 
Beginner and Intermediate 
(Ages 17 and up) 

Beginner
This class will concentrate on water adjustment in deep water, treading water and rotary breathing.

$120 Saturday 10:40-11:25 am

Adult Intermediate Swim
This class will work on stroke improvement and endurance so participants can swim laps at their own pace.

$120 Saturday 10:25-11:10 am

Stroke Development
This class will work on the development of the swimmers stroke.

$120 Tuesday 11:30 -12:15

 Water Exercise
Improve your muscular strength, cardio-respiratory endurance, flexibility, and muscular endurance.

Benefits of Water Exercise:

  • Buoyancy lessens impact on joints and thus the risk of injury.
  • Water cools the body during exercise, to avoid overheating.
  • Warm water increases blood circulation and promotes healing of injured tissues.
  • Warm water relaxes tight muscles and increases joint motion.

Srength Training in Deep Water 
Looking for a more challenging water exercise class? This is water aerobics program using vigorous movements in deep water guaranteed to give you a workout without the impact of land exercise. Participants need to be able to swim and feel comfortable in deep water. Class size limited to 15 people. Belts are required and provided. Your own water shoes must be worn.

Class is free with membership but registration is required.  Sept 14-Dec 21.

Shallow Water Exercise (formerly water aerobics)
This class will work your cardiovascular system in the shallow water. This is a great way to get a total body workout. Free with membership. Water shoes are required.

Arthritis Foundation Aquatics Program

For those seeking modified movements for arthritis, diabetes, hip or knee replacements, post cardiac and back pain.
Free with membership.

Tuesday/Thursday 8:15-9:00 am
   

 

Private Swim Instruction

Six-week program is for those who need individual attention in the water. Instructor works one on one with the student to gain confidence in the water and perfect their stroke. To register, fill out a wait-list form. List several days and times when the student is available. Due to high demand, we cannot guarantee the days and times requested. Approval is given by the Aquatics Manager. Space is very limited.
