The Y is offering help for those suffering with arthritis!
The following programs address the problems of arthritis, all in
cooperation with the North Jersey Arthritis Center and are endorsed
by the Arthritis Foundation. W.E.T. will continue to be offered.
The Arthritis Self Help Management Course and P.A.C.E. programs
will be running again. Watch for details!

Free for members; Nonmembers $130.
This Arthritis Foundation designed class will be taught by Nancy Wharton, an experienced Aqua size instructor specializing in techniques and movements performed in the water that are specifically designed to increase range of motion of muscles and give greater strength and flexibility to the participants.

This course is designed to help participants increase joint flexibility
and increase range of motion. With the guidance of a certified Arthritis
Foundation instructor, you will learn exercises to maintain muscle
strength and increase overall stamina. (Minimum 8 people)

Structured group Weight
Training program using both free weights and selected strength machines.
Proper form and technique will be taught by certified Personal Trainers.
This program is a great way to help reduce the risk of developing
and even warding off off osteoporosis.

This is very, very easy yoga. No matter what shape you're in or
what ability you might have.
This is a great way to
learn the basics of spinning. Geared to all ages and fitness levels,
our specialty instructor, Marilyn, will introduce this wonderful
class to all.
A class designed for those with musculoskeleton/joint problems who wish to increase their flexibility, balance, and strength. Taught by Jean George, ASC, a specialist in muscular movements, this class will involve weight training, stretching and Pilates type of movements to increase flexibility, balance and strength.
A floor aerobics class using basic dance choreography. This class will also incorporate weight training and stretch segments. Come early, as this is one of our most popular classes.
Improve your muscular strength, cardio-respiratory endurance, flexibility, and muscular endurance.

- Water cools the body during exercise, to avoid overheating.
